His research examines the effects of psychological conditioning on human behavior, ways to eliminate dysfunctional behavior generated by psychological conditioning through negative emotions, with a focus on methods of transpersonal psychology as an aid to harnessing the potential of the human being. He received his doctorate in Psychology in 2012 from Bucharest University, Romania, where he studied Psychosomatic conditioning, Psychodiagnosis and psychotherapeutic intervention using altered states of consciousness, and their relationship to mental health. From 2015, he also holds a PhD in Military Science, from the National Defense University "Carol I", where he studied the phenomenon of brain connectivity during what he called Distant Psycho-Informational Influence, and contributed to the foundation of what is called the Transpersonal Warfare. His current research interests include clinical applications of mindfulness, and altered states of consciousness and their underlying neurobiological mechanisms, the role of spirituality in mental health, and use of qualitative and quantitative methodologies towards investigating these areas.
He uses music and psychotherapeutic intervention in amplified states of consciousness, along with behavior evaluation aplying computerized testing, and EEG techniques, to explore the neural basis of emotional functioning and amplified states of consciousness. His research focuses on the acute and long-term effects of psychological conditioning on cognition, emotion, and brain functioning.
