Dr Alkis (Alkiviadis) Gounaris is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer, since 2012, at the Department of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interests focus on the Philosophy of Human Cognition and Artificial Intelligence and on Applied Ethics. Since 2023, he has also been a member of the Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence of the National Commission for Bioethics and Technoethics and an adjunct faculty member at the Open University of Cyprus.
