I specialize in ancient philosophy and am particularly interested in issues that lie at the intersection of ancient ethics and epistemology. My research investigates the value of knowledge and inquiry and their relationship to virtue and ethical development. Currently, my main focus is on the treatment of these issues in the dialogues of Plato, but I am also working on a project that considers related topics in the Stoics.
