Amy Marvin received her PhD from University of Oregon and specializes in feminist philosophy and trans philosophy, with publications on laughter, violence, hope, oppression, curiosity, care, community, and subversive humor. She is a 2024 MSF Media Fellow, with publications in Philosophy Compass, Transgender Studies Quarterly, Hypatia, Feminist Philosophy Quarterly, APA Studies on LGBTQ Philosophy, Contingent Magazine, Trans Philosophy, Curiosity Studies, the Philosophy of Humour Handbook, and We Want it All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetics.
