My teaching and writing are focused on contributions to social epistemology and Latin American philosophy. Broadly connecting these two areas is an interest in the ways that knowledge and power shape cultural and historical narratives. One area of my work employs philosophical genealogy as a tool to study the intersections of coloniality and knowledge, particularly in Latin America. And another, more recent line of research delves into the challenges of navigating contemporary information landscapes, examining how cults, conspiracy theories, and fake news affect public discourse and collective understanding
