I hold a PhD in Linguistics and Psychology. I did my postdoc with Ray Gibbs in Santa Cruz, California, U.S.A. My interests are: the interrelationship between Cognition and Language, Categorization, Metaphors under the conceptual and discourse views, besides other related topics. I work as an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Ceará in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil.
