I recently received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine. My research interests are primarily in 17th- and 18th-century philosophy, particularly the role of skepticism in the works of Immanuel Kant, Margaret Cavendish, and David Hume. My dissertation is on Kant and Pyrrhonian skepticism, exploring Kant's interpretation of Pyrrhonism and its influence on his theoretical philosophy. I also have research interests in contemporary epistemology (esp. skepticism, perception, and normativity), ancient philosophy, and philosophy of mind. My doctoral work at UCI was advised by Sven Bernecker and Karl Schafer.
