I am a PhD candidate at the University of California, Irvine. My primary research interests are in early modern philosophy, with an emphasis on the role of skepticism in the works of Kant, Hume, and Margaret Cavendish. I am currently writing a dissertation on Kant’s interpretation of Pyrrhonian skepticism and the influence which Pyrrhonism had on Kant’s philosophical development. I also have research interests in contemporary epistemology (esp. skepticism, perception, and normativity), philosophy of mind, ancient philosophy, and the history of analytic philosophy. My doctoral work at UCI has been advised by Sven Bernecker and Karl Schafer.
