I'm a Philosophy Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas in Maceió, Brazil.
My areas of specialization are epistemology and normative decision theory. I'm also interested in philosophy of religion, philosophy of probability, formal logic, and philosophy of science. My research deals with rationality, what it is rational to believe and do, and the application of formal methods (especially probability theory) to philosophical problems.
