I am a Philosophy PhD student at the Institute of Philosophy (ISFI, USI-FTL) in Lugano, where I am part of the “Equivalence in Metaphysics” SNF-funded project. My PhD supervisors are Damiano Costa and Fabrice Correia.
I am mainly interested in metaphysics and philosophical logic, especially in modality, truthmaking, mereology, location, time and persistence.

I am mainly interested in metaphysics and philosophical logic, especially in modality, truthmaking, mereology, location, time and persistence.
I received my MA in Philosophy at the University of Italian Switzerland (Lugano) and my BA in Philosophy from the Catholic University of The Sacred Heart (Milan).
My MA thesis was on what makes generic universal generalisations true and I worked under the supervision of Profs. Øystein Linnebo and Fabrice Correia. A universal generalisation is generic insofar as its truth can be explained in a purely general way (e.g., "every red thing is coloured" or "every natural number has a successor"), as opposed to those generalisations whose explanation must appeal to facts about particular individuals (e.g., “every novel in my room is in Italian”).
Aside from studying philosophy on my own, I love engaging in philosophical discussions with others. This is why I currently run a philosophy YouTube channel (@gruppo_filosofia) together with a friend. We periodically organise discussions with guest philosophers on specific topics, reading groups
or thematic introductions for undergraduates.
When not doing philosophy, I am most likely playing board games and role-playing games.
