I am a Philosophy PhD student at the Institute of Philosophy (USI-FTL) in Lugano, where I am part of the “Equivalence in Metaphysics” SNF-funded project. My PhD supervisors are Damiano Costa and Fabrice Correia. In my PhD thesis, I study the logic of generalised identity and its application to debates about grounding and theoretical equivalence.
I am mainly interested in metaphysics and philosophical logic – especially in modality, truthmaking, grounding, identity, mereology and location.

I am mainly interested in metaphysics and philosophical logic – especially in modality, truthmaking, grounding, identity, mereology and location.
I received my MA in Philosophy from the University of Italian Switzerland (Lugano) and my BA in Philosophy from the Catholic University of The Sacred Heart (Milan). My MA thesis was on how generalised identities ground universal generalisations and provide them with generic, or non-instantial, truthmakers. My thesis supervisors were Øystein Linnebo and Fabrice Correia.
Aside from studying philosophy on my own, I love engaging in philosophical discussions with others. This is why I currently run a philosophy YouTube channel (@gruppo_filosofia) together with a friend. We periodically organise discussions with guest philosophers on specific topics, reading groups
or thematic introductions for undergraduates.
When not doing philosophy, I am most likely playing board games or role-playing games.
