I am a philosopher of mathematics and a logician based in Paris. I bring historical, formal, and conceptual tools to bear on the investigation of mathematical values like purity, depth, and simplicity. My training and my first jobs were in the USA; my relocation to France integrates me into a network of like-minded colleagues and enables me to add to my toolbox the methods of French philosophy which remain largely inaccessible outside of the hexagon.
