Much of my scholarly work is in the area of ethics and political philosophy, with connections to the philosophy of law, feminist theory, and the history of philosophy. My recent work has focused on questions of international justice and conflict, giving special attention to how developments in political philosophy during the early modern period have influenced the way these questions are framed.
