I earned my PhD in philosophy from Emory University in 2020. My research stands at the intersection of ancient philosophy, ethics, and moral psychology. My current work examines Plato's and Aristotle's views of the nature and value of hope. I've taught broadly across areas in philosophy—including early modern philosophy, ethics, and logic—and I have additional pedagogical interests in the history of philosophy from the ancients to the present day (including Indian and Tibetan Buddhist philosophy).
