Professor at Cal State Fullerton, originally from the UK (MA Edinburgh, PhD Sheffield). My research interests include pragmatism (esp. that of its founder C.S. Peirce), truth (correspondence, deflationism vs. inflationism, connections with assertion, belief, & inquiry), and realism/antirealism. I most frequently teach logic (lower and upper, mostly formal), metaphysics, philosophy of language, and American Philosophy/Pragmatism.
