I'm Canadian born, educated and employed. I think of myself as a post-analytic philosopher. Does anyone else use this label? By this I mean that I was educated in the analytic tradition but I don't share the focus on language or the analysis of concepts that a narrow view of analytic philosophy would emphasize. Instead I take seriously the links between philosophical questions and broadly empirical methods of inquiry, such as (but not necessarily limited to) those found in the natural sciences.
