My main research is on the structure of consciousness. I'm interested in how structural concepts—such as degrees, dimensions, continuity, discreteness, parts, wholes, isomorphisms, and state-spaces—can be applied to conscious experiences. Some of my work can be described as "mathematical phenomenology."
I also work on the ethics of consciousness, on introspection, perception, & attention, and on analog & iconic representation. My areas of research cut across mind, ethics, metaphysics, language, science, math, and cognitive science.
