17Simulated animal and simulated umweltSign Systems Studies 52 (1-2): 208-230. 2024.In this article I develop sociologist George Ritzer’s concept ‘simulated animal’ by focusing on rational systems, enchantment, and nonhuman animal corporeality and behaviour.
