I am a feminist philosopher and activist, (sort of) retired in 2007 although I still teach a grad seminar a year in feminist theory at UMass Amherst. I am also an anti-Nuke activist and active on the advisory board for ARISE for Social Justice, a poor people's rights group in Springfield MA. I am part of an international research team working on the new field of feminist love studies, connected with the Center for Gender Excellence in Sweden, and am a co-editor of a new book called <Love: A Question for Feminism in the 21st century> coming out from Routledge this Sept 2013.
