I am a PhD student in philosophy at USC. My primary research interests lie within philosophy of language and metaphysics. In particular, I am interested in generic sentences, the semantics/pragmatics distinction, dispositions, free will, and nonexistent objects. I have published work on generics, biological teleology, and action theory.

I received my BA in philosophy from Reed College. I wrote my senior thesis on generic sentences. My adviser was Troy Cross.
