Anton Marczyński works in phenomenology, metaphysics, and hermeneutic ontology. He is the author of Body/Mysticism: An Introduction to the Ontology of Corporeality, a study in the phenomenology and ontology of the body. His current project, De bello: Ontology of War, approaches war as a limit-experience that confronts philosophy with the boundaries of articulation, the tension between experience and concept, and the problem of evil; within it, he also works on the ontology of style.
