I am a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Bern. My dissertation revolves around diaspora as a social phenomena, the ontology of diasporic identity and the vulnerability that comes with it. I am also thinking about different sorts of identities such as ethnicity, race, and nation. I approach these issues primarily from the perspective of analytic philosophy while trying to consider work from other philosophical traditions and the social sciences.
