My main interests lie in two camps: firstly, philosophy of gender, social ontology and the history of feminism and secondly, aesthetics and philosophy communicated through art (specifically in relation to film), as well as areas where these two fields intersect such as feminist film theory. I am also interested in thinkers who are not traditionalally classed as philosophers or who are often left out of the philosophical canon, such as Oscar Wilde, Agnes Varda, Jacques Tati, Kurt Vonnegut and Virginia Woolf.
