Asil is a Ph.D. student in Philosophy, Public Philosophy, and Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Penn, they received their B.A. in Legal Studies and Philosophy and an M.A in Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Their primary interests are in the philosophy of race and ethics. Their secondary interests lie in the philosophy of language, philosophy of art, and aesthetics.
