Asmat Islam is a recent Ph.D. in Healthcare Ethics from the Center for Global Health Ethics, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh. Prior to that, she earned her MA in Philosophy from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham. Asmat Islam teaches Ethics at Jagannath University and North South University, Dhaka. Her primary research interests concern bioethics, research ethics, and the ethics of emerging technologies in healthcare.
