I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Moravian University and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Edinburgh. ​I work on topics in philosophy of cognitive science, social philosophy, philosophy of technology, and legal philosophy. My main project investigates what nonverbal communication is and how social prejudices shape patterns of nonverbal behavior and I'm currently writing a book on the topic. I also have philosophical work on law and public policy with particular focus on discrimination against queer and transgender people.
