Research interests
Constantly evolving. I enjoy researching topics in Political philosophy (and non-ideal political theory) specifically the relationship between conceptions of human nature (i.e. our autonomy and rational capacities) and legitimate forms of government. I am also interested in issues surrounding uninformed voting, the lack of voter participation, and the limitations of citizen deliberation in political discourse. I have also been known to enjoy aspects within History of Philosophy as well, specifically regarding social contract theorists and women in early modern philosophy.

In addition to philosophy, I also have a background in history (specifically European and colonial history from the 15th century onward) and aspects of Canadian Law (Tort and Constitutional law)
