I am a DPhil Student in philosophy at St Hilda's College Oxford. My thesis is entitled "Ethics in a Realistic Spirit". Drawing on work by Cora Diamond and Charles Taylor, particularly surrounding their respective concepts of guidance/epiphany, the thesis explores what it might mean to do ethics realistically. I have various philosophical interests, mostly clustered around Wittgenstein and Anscombe.
