I am an author of Philosophy, Logic and History of Science and Technology, with research interests in Space Science, Decision Making, Non-Commutative Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Neurobiology and Cosmology. I studied Philosophy and Education at Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece; History and Philosophy of Science (Master and PhD) at National Technical University and National Kapodistrian University of Athens; Special Education Needs (Master) at Liverpool John Moores University (Master) and History and Philosophy of Sciences (Master) at Leiden University, Netherlands. My research experience includes employment in manuscript digitalization, industrial archaeology and history of the public power company in Greece.
The research projects that I am currently working on, comprise Energy and Thermodynamics, Entropy and Equilibria; Super-Earths and Life; Differentiation, Integral Calculus, Multivariable Calculus Vectors and Derivatives; Material science and culture; Plant cognition; and Ethics by Design and Quantum Technology Ethics.
I have an excellent knowledge of Epistemology, Logic, Ethics and History of Philosophy and I can effectively instruct philosophical masterpieces from Ancient to Modern Philosophy. The analysis of the distinction between belief and faith is indispensable in my scientific and philosophical practices. I develop my personal way of thinking, feeling and believing as a method of confrontation with inconsistent argumentation. Furthermore, I investigate the emergence of Modern Philosophy, Rationalism and Empiricism, in the frames of a scientific culture that is shifting to the shaping of modernity, by the interweaving of philosophy of action with exact and natural science and technology studies.
My preliminary research project examines space science, mathematical and technological applications, astrobiology, resources in solar system, stars and exoplanets, ocean worlds, and light speed travel. Into this direction, I gave the lecture “Impacts, symmetries and decisions”, at the Spring Meeting of the DPG (German Physical Society) in Dresden (March 20 - 24, 2023). Furthermore, my research focuses on Innovation Projects in Technical and Scientific Reasoning, ranging from Quantum Logic to Space Exploration.
