Beer Prakken is a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen interested in the intersection of play, humor, and politics. He completed his Bachelor's degree in History and Master's degree in Philosophy and History. Currently, he is pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD program, which aims to analyze the usage of humor and play by politicians and the ethics surrounding it. Prakken is particularly interested in studying the concept of dark play and trolling in American politics.
