I am a PhD student at Duquesne University in Healthcare Ethics.

I graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University with a BA in Philosophy and minors in Clinical Psychology and Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS). Following this, I completed an MA in Philosophy at Kent State University.

My area of specialization is behavioral health ethics and the philosophy of psychiatry. I am trained in analytic and phenomenological approaches to mental health and both influence my thinking. I am interested in free will and responsibility, genetic ethics, compulsive and addictive behavior, psychiatric nosology, and transgender care.
