I am currently a Lecturer in Philosophy at Boston University (since 2017). Prior to moving to Boston, I taught in philosophy and the Honors College at the University of Utah (2004-2016). I'm interested in issues regarding religion, practical reason and agency, and I focus my attention on classical German philosophy. I have also written on figures in the Scottish Enlightenment on similar topics. My current project is a monograph on F.H. Jacobi's skeptical approach to the Enlightenment.
