I work on eighteenth-century history of ideas and aesthetics (British), particularly how the early modern cooperation of philosophy, science, medicine and the arts shaped our modern understanding of the human body and bodily practices.

I am Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences at the Hungarian University of Sports Science, Budapest, where I teach courses mainly in the philosophy of sport and the cultural history of the body.
