Bradley Allen

Brad Allen is a researcher in the Intelligent Data Engineering Lab at the Informatics Institute of the University of Amsterdam, where he is conducting research into the impact of large language models on the practices of knowledge and ontology engineering. Brad was founder and CTO at three enterprise software startups in the Los Angeles area, achieving successful exits in two of the three. He began his career during the nineteen-eighties as one of the very first knowledge engineers of the expert systems era.
