I am an associate professor at Umeå University, where I research philosophical issues surrounding causation and explanation in metaphysics and philosophy of AI.
During the 2026-2029 period, I will be involved in two research projects: Natural Properties - a causation-first approach, with Jenn McDonald and Tom Wysocki, and How Words Mean: lessons from large language models, with Jessica Pepp (PI), Dimitri Coelho Mollo, and Pär Sundström.
In the past, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at Rutgers University, Umeå University, and the University of Cologne, and obtained my PhD at Umeå University.
