Brian Guarino

Brian Guarino is an independent researcher and the founder of Guarino Industries LLC. He works on measurement: what has to be true of a quantity before it can be treated as a measurable dimension of a system, and what follows once it is. Two applications are currently under submission. One treats economic value as a conventional base dimension, anchoring the monetary unit to a dated wage reference and testing the consequences against price microdata under pre-registered protocols. The other treats phenomenal intensity as a base dimension bridged to physical intensity, reconstruing the explanatory gap as dimensional mismatch. His earlier work applies the same apparatus in operations research and propulsion. All empirical claims are deposited with their code and their protocols, hashed before the data was gathered, and are re-runnable by anyone.
