I am a doctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg working on Hegel’s “Idealist History of Self-Consciousness.” My dissertation examines Hegel’s engagement with the post-Kantian problem of how to begin critical philosophy without presuppositions, focusing in particular on his underexplored conception of a “history of self-consciousness” as a proposed solution.
