I am an assistant professor of philosophy at Rutgers University–Newark (currently on leave). Between August 2019 and July 2021, I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie research fellow at the University of Leeds. I work primarily in ethics, metaethics, and moral psychology. My main research project aims to reconcile expressivism about normative discourse with normative realism, and to explore the benefits of this result. I am also interested in making sense of our attachments to various forms of imperfection in our lives.
