I'm an independent researcher with an undergraduate philosophy degree from the University of Melbourne. I completed an honours thesis, 'Identity and Distinctness in Singular Thought', under the supervision of Laura Schroeter. In this thesis, I argued that Peter Strawson's picture of concepts as mental representations in individual minds gives a better account of identity judgements than Frege's view of concepts as abstract objects.

My research focuses on developing a system of natural logic that revives and extends elements of traditional syllogistic logic. My aim is to defend a form of psychologism that grounds logic in a scientific theory of concepts, conceived as mental representations. I'm currently working on a series of papers developing and defending this approach.
I take inspiration from the logical writings of Schopenhauer, Sigwart, Strawson, Sommers and Ben-Yami. My other interests include the epistemic status of introspection, the nature of consciousness, theories of concepts, intentionality and reference, and the philosophy of Thomas Reid.
