I'm a student memeber of LOGOS, Research Group in Analytic Philosophy at the University of Barcelona. Since December 2012 I've been working in my PHD Thesis; which I hope to submit by 2018.
During my writting up period I've been teaching courses and seminars in psychology (2016), philosophy (2016-2017) and language (2017) at some Colombian Universities.
I've been a visiting student at Universidad del Valle, Colombia (Philosophy Departament) - March-August 2017-, at Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany (Research Group in Philosophical Anthropology) - January-February 2017, at Rhur-Universität Bochum, Germany (Center for Brain, Mind and Cognitive Evolution and Situated Cognition Group) - February-May 2015 and at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, México (Philosophical Research Institute) - August-December 2008.
Before moving to Barcelona in 2011, I did a master (MPhil) in philosophy of mind and cognitive science at the Universidad del Valle (Colombia- 2007-2009). My undergraduate studies are in philosophy (2002-2006) and psychology (2003-2010) at the same university.
Before my PhD studies, I was adjunct professor of philosophy and psychology at some universities in Colombia (2007-2010) and worked as researcher for the Colombian Government (COLCIENCIAS, 2008-2009). During 2009-2010 I had the opportunity to make research work in clinical neuropsychology at Universidad del Valle (Colombia) and since 2004 until 2011 I was a research student at MENTIS (now called Análisis), Research Group in Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science, Universidad del Valle, Colombia.
My research areas are Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Science, and Meta-Philosophy. My research topics are perceptual experience, philosophical cognition and mental architecture.
However, I have a wide range of interests that includes evolutionary psychology, behavioral sciences, psychology of art and philosophical foundations of neuroscience.
