Carlos Mario Márquez Sosa

Carlos Márquez is Posdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of São Paulo / FFLCH funded by the FAPESP proc. 2018/04058-7. He is graduate (1998-2004), Master (2004-2006) and PhD in Philosophy (2008-2015) from the National University of Colombia. He spent one year as Postdoctoral Junior Fellow at the Philosophy Department of PUC-Rio (2016-2017) supported by the CNPq proc. 152155/2016-3. He has experience in Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Mind and Logic, mainly acting in the following subjects: theories of meaning, theories of content and formal semantics. He is currently working on situated and dynamic cognition: objective representation, object perception, spatial cognition, cognitive maps, dynamic thoughts, singular reference, indexicality and semantic flexibility.
