I am a lecturer in philosophy at Binghamton University (SUNY). I previously held research fellowships at St Hilda's College, Oxford and the University of Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic. I received my PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. I work at the intersections of philosophy of mind and epistemology. Most of my research is on self-knowledge, but I am also interested in trust, mental agency, and philosophy of technology. My historical interests include Joseph Butler, Kant, Phenomenology, Wittgenstein, Ryle, and Murdoch.
