I am the Scientific Director of a new research school at the Universite Mohammed VI Polytechnique in Morocco, called the 'School of Collective Intelligence'. We study how groups interact in ways that outperform their members contributions, and our faculty include cognitive scientists, computer scientists, data scientists and anthropologists. My training includes research in the Department of Developmental and Comparative Psychology at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, and also at the Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris, on experimental approaches to exploring the evolution of reasoning and social cognition.
I received a PhD from the University of Toronto in 2011, with a dissertation on social externalism about concepts and linguistic meaning.
