Catherine Peters is an assistant professor at Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, California). She specializes in medieval philosophy, with a particular focus on the thought of Thomas Aquinas and Avicenna. Peters earned a BA from Sacred Heart Major Seminary (Detroit, Michigan) and completed her MA and PhD at the Center for Thomistic Studies at the University of St. Thomas (Houston, Texas). Her current research centers on the intersections of natural philosophy, metaphysics, natural theology, and the importance of the “person” in philosophy of disability.
