I am an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Université Laval in Quebec City (Ph.D. University of Toronto, 2020).

My areas of research specialization are ethics, moral psychology, and philosophy of action. I am especially interested in our capacities for future planning and commitment, as well as in the interactions between these capacities and emotions. My work focuses on topics such as intention, grit, hope, and interpersonal trust, with the broad aim of understanding how to "live well" as temporally oriented agents.
