I'm a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews. Prior to this, I was an Isaac Newton Trust Career Development Research Fellow in the Faculty of Philosophy and Magdalene College at the University of Cambridge.
Most of my current research is on consciousness (in the wakeful sense) and departures from, and/or disorders of, this state. My broader research interests lie in the philosophy of psychiatry, philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, metaphysics, and metaphilosophy.
