I received my doctorate on the cognitive value of literature from the University of York in 2022. I am currently a research assistant at the University of Nottingham, on the British Academy funded project, 'Developing Meta-Aesthetics'. My current research interests include questions about whether the methodologies we employ in the philosophy of art are fit to account for artistic value. I am especially interested in this question insofar as it applies to the philosophy of literature.
