Charlie is a DPhil student at the Oxford Internet Institute researching the ethical, social and political issues surrounding digital identities and mass surveillance, specifically federated governmental digital identity systems in the UK. He is funded for four years of inter-disciplinary doctoral research at the OII as part of the ESRC's Grand Union DTP.
