I am an ethics scholar and healthcare leader with strong backgrounds in both bedside work, specifically in stroke care, as well as in Western analytical philosophy with an interest professionally in how these two identities interact with each other. I am particularly passionate about leadership, teaching, and mentoring, and hold serious interest in helping others navigate complex ethical situations while becoming evermore compassionate individuals. As a matter of scholarship, my work is often concerned in particular with the ethical dimensions of HIV/AIDS, research ethics, narrative medicine, and bioethics generally.
