Research on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) has tended to split into work on initial adoption and work on continued use after experience. This article brings those streams together by reading the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM) as complementary, stage-specific lenses. The analysis draws on 25 peer-reviewed empirical studies located through structured source searches, publisher and DOI checks, scholarly indexes, and citation tracing. The corpus is analytical rather than exhaustive. Most studies come from higher education and rely on single-wave self-report data. Across adoption studies, perceived usefulness appears more consistently associated with uptake than perceived ease of use. Post-adoption studies give greater weight to confirmation, satisfaction, calibrated trust, quality, and perceived value. The synthesis distinguishes anticipatory trust from calibrated trust and treats continuance as only one possible outcome alongside selective use, reduced use, switching, discontinuance, re-adoption, habit, and AI dependency. It also proposes performance, value, and ethical/governance disconfirmation as separate concepts for future testing. Taken together, the evidence suggests that TAM is most informative around entry into use, whereas ECM is better suited to experience-based reassessment and continuance.

We examined evaluative AI literacy, learner control, and cognitive offloading in higher education by comparing 13 full-text reports in this source-seeded evidence map. These reports were drawn from a 54-record working bibliography; four abstract/preview records were used solely as background. No core report empirically tests the full hypothesized chain: evaluative AI literacy → learner control → cognitive offloading. The course-relative offloading distinctions accompany two hypothetical assignments in which work assisted by generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), reasons for decisions, and learning without GenAI would be assessed separately. These proposals remain unvalidated. English-only selection, incomplete search records, and no formal risk-of-bias appraisal prevent comprehensive coverage and field-wide effect estimates.

This study investigates the role of intrinsic motivation in enhancing deep learning in early childhood education (ECE), a critical period for cognitive, emotional, and social development. Intrinsic motivation, driven by children’s natural curiosity and desire to explore, is essential for fostering active engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. However, as children progress through their educational journey, intrinsic motivation often diminishes in favor of extrinsic rewards, leading to surface-level learning. This research, grounded in Self-Determination Theory (SDT), examines how meeting children’s psychological needs—autonomy, competence, and relatedness—supports intrinsic motivation in preschool classrooms. Through case studies, this paper highlights various teaching strategies, including inquiry-based learning, emotional support, play-based exploration, and collaborative learning, that promote intrinsic motivation and deepen engagement with academic content. The study’s findings underscore the importance of creating supportive learning environments that nurture intrinsic motivation, contributing to children’s long-term academic success and personal development. Practical recommendations for educators and policymakers are provided, focusing on curriculum design, teacher-student interactions, and fostering autonomy-supportive practices in the classroom. Ultimately, the research emphasizes the crucial role intrinsic motivation plays in creating lasting, meaningful learning experiences, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.

New energy vehicle policies have greatly promoted the growth of the NEV industry in China, while also attracting a lot of investor attention. Using Chinese NEV concept stocks and related industrial policies, including purchase tax incentives and promotion and application policies, issued from 2011 to 2020 as the research setting, this paper adopts a panel data model to examine the impact of policy announcement on the volatility of NEV concept stocks, as well as the mediating role of investor attention in transmitting the impact. We find that NEV P&A policies have a significant and positive impact on NEV concept stock volatility, while PTI policies do not have a significant impact. Moreover, investor attention plays a partial mediating role in transmitting the impact of P&A policies on NEV stock market by increasing the stock volatility risk. Furthermore, there is heterogeneous effect of equity ownership in the relationship between policy announcement and investor attention on the volatility of NEV concept stocks; non-state-owned firms are more sensitive to the NEV P&A policies than state-owned firms. By analyzing the relationship between policy announcement and concept stock volatility, this paper enriches the research on NEV concept stocks and provides policy implications for the NEV industry.

Optimization for vertical vibration performance of a rail-train coupling system is investigated in this paper with the introduction of inerters for both primary and secondary suspensions. A model of a typical Chinese passenger train that travels on a traditional rail with track, sleepers, and ballast is simulated. The goal is to improve the ride quality for the train and vibration attenuation for the rail system in response to track irregularities. Optimizations for only inertance and all suspension parameters are carried out by the particle swarm algorithm. Performance benefits for both the train and the rail system are demonstrated and suspension layouts with inerters connected in parallel and series are compared with the traditional one in both time domain and frequency domain.

According to the essence of industrial civilization, wilderness is bound to disenchantment. However, in the ecological civilization era, based on the demands of ecological balance, we must reserve a certain degree of wilderness in urban environment. Therefore, we need to bring back enchantment to aesthetic appreciation of wilderness. On the surface, the re-enchantment of wilderness seems to be a regression of agricultural civilization; however, in fact, it is a transcendental development of agricultural civilization. In recent years, there have been some deviations in the application of “garden urbanism” and “landscape urbanism” have existed in contemporary Chinese urban landscaping. To some extent, the recovery of wilderness is a major mission in Chinese urban construction.

In longitudinal cohort studies involving large populations over extended periods, informed consent entails numerous urgent challenges. This paper explores challenges regarding informed consent in long‐term, large‐scale longitudinal cohort studies based on the longitudinal and dynamic nature of such research. It analyzes and evaluates widely recognized broad consent and dynamic consent methods, highlighting limitations concerning their ability to adapt to evolving research objectives and participant perspectives. This paper discusses trust‐based informed consent and emphasizes the needs to establish and maintain trust with research participants and to balance information disclosure with respect for participants' autonomy. Informed consent in long‐term studies is an evolving process that must adapt to changing research environments. Based on participant trust, researchers should observe and assess potential research risks. Finally, the paper recommends enhancing institutional credibility, implementing reconsent procedures, and ensuring robust ethical oversight to safeguard participants' rights despite the complexity of modern biomedical research.

In the current digital environment, people can visit every corner of the world without leaving their homes. New media technology compresses distance and time, but it also subverts the traditional mode of audience presence. Many traditional, offline content expression modes are also moving toward the digital field, and digital art is among them. Digital new media is a new art form that requires its audience to have a new media literacy; this literacy is necessary for esthetic experience and for audience participation. At present, the relatively lack of objective methodology for scientific research on aesthetic and media literacy has limited our current understanding. Therefore, we need to develop a new model and conduct empirical research with college students as the audience. Empirical research was conducted with an audience of college students. The study had the following purposes: to add a new dimension to the esthetic model, namely new media literacy, to align the model with the current digital environment, and to test the moderating effect of new media literacy on esthetic emotion as represented by interest and confusion. The experiment verified the study’s hypothesis that higher new media literacy was associated with higher esthetic interest and lower confusion. By contrast, has a substantial influence on the cognitive processes in humans, lower new media literacy was associated with lower esthetic interest and higher confusion. New media literacy is an essential quality for contemporary audiences. This knowledge may be useful for effective design. It provides a traditional and favorable learning environment and empirical reference for the subsequent improvement of digital aesthetics and media literacy.

Facial fat grafting techniques often offer impressive surgical results. However, fatal complications, such as irreversible cerebral ischemia, blindness, and hemiplegia are associated with them. We have presented a case report of a patient who presented with a massive cerebral infarction, a serious complication of facial autologous fat injection. The patient was a 28-year-old female who experienced motor dysfunction of the left extremities, which was accompanied with loss of consciousness immediately following fat grafting for facial augmentation. Imaging studies suggested that the patient had a large cerebral infarction on the right frontal, temporal, and parietal lobes due to complete occlusion of her right external carotid artery. Emergency decompressive craniectomy was completed in addition to multiple follow-up medical treatments. The patient recovered after 4 months with reduced motor function in her left upper extremity. This report further summarizes published cases of massive cerebral ischemia after facial injection of autologous fat, as well as lists high-risk facial areas and critical warnings.
